TBT Polygraph was established by Hannalie Groenewald, with the aim to provide a professional and trusted polygraph service.
Hannalie spent most of her career in the vetting environment, focusing on upholding the highest level of integrity of the workforce. Having experience in practicing and managing the entire vetting value chain, that is, background screening, vetting investigations, and analysis, as well as polygraph, marking a wealth of knowledge to assist you.
Her career started in the South African National Defence Force, attached to Defence Intelligence, Directorate Counter Intelligence, as a Vetting Investigator. She was trained as a Polygraph Examiner in 2002 by the American International Institute of Polygraph, accredited by the American Polygraph Association. In 2004, She transferred to the National Intelligence Agency, as a Polygraph Examiner attached to the Directorate Counter Intelligence. She achieved success in her career, with a journey spanning over two decades, performing diverse roles within Counter Intelligence, including risk management, operational management, analysis, investigations and security screening to mention a few. Her career culminated in her appointment as the Head of Vetting for KwaZulu Natal within the State Security Agency.

B-MIL degree with majors in Political Science and Industrial Psychology, Military Academy, University of Stellenbosch (2001).
BA Community Safety & Socio-Legal Studies with a specialisation in offender profiling, University of South Africa (UNISA) (Cum laude, 2007).
BA Honours in Counselling Psychology, University of South Africa (UNISA) (Cum laude, 2022).
